What is a Construction Focus Group (CFG)?

• Our CFG Construction Projects can also be called “Built Environment” Projects. They have a wide scope, with the intention of being inclusive and welcoming to everybody in our Chapter.
• The CFG project environments typically include capital planning, concept selection, design, construction, installation, fabrication, commissioning, and other related Project Management areas. Land, Sea, Air, and Beyond!
• Particular interest may come from those with career objectives in Capital Projects; however, we welcome all PMI members who wish to participate in our Construction-Focused PM events.
• The CFG intends to provide an informative interface between experienced construction project managers and newer professionals entering the sector. This combines the benefits of both worlds – field wisdom from lessons learned combined with the latest academic developments for efficiency and success generation.
• All PMI-NL members who want to join CFG will have free access to all online events. Non-PMI-NL CFG members will have one year of free trial membership to all CFG online events. After that, there is no obligation, but you are welcome to get a PMI-NL membership here.
