Psychological Health & Safety

Power Skills

In any given year, 1 in 5 Canadians will experience a psychological health issue or illness; this translates into more than 6.7 million Canadians. Depression is the second leading cause of disability worldwide, second only to heart disease. We all have roles and responsibilities in psychological health and safety in the workplace. The CSA standard Z1003-13: Psychological Health and Safety in the Workpace, guides workplaces in supporting worker's mental health at work.
