CFG Lunch & Learn Session
About the Lunch & Learn:
This Lunch & Learn is a collaborative initiative between the CSCE MUN Student Chapter and the PMINL's Construction & Facilities Group (CFG), aimed at strengthening engagement between industry professionals and engineering students. The event provides students with an opportunity to learn more about PMINL and CFG membership, career development pathways, networking opportunities, and avenues for volunteer involvement.
The session will explore how engineers, scientists, and the expertise they represent influence and inform public policy on critical water issues—particularly in contexts where technical solutions alone are insufficient, and where governance structures, institutional frameworks, and stakeholder dynamics ultimately shape outcomes.
The keynote address will be delivered by the Honourable Ross Reid, with brief introductory remarks from the President of PMINL and a representative of PMINL CFG to outline the Chapter’s role and commitment to student engagement and professional development.
