BECOME A 2023 SPEAKER

Do you have an interesting project, story, skill or lesson learned that you’d like to share? We are now accepting speaker applications for the 2023 Project Management Symposium! The Symposium will be held on November 15th, 2023 in St. John’s, NL with a virtual attendance option.

The application process is open to everyone, you do not need to be a member of PMI-NL to attend or speak at the event. No professional speaking experience is required. All selected speakers will have access to speaker coaching and development. This will provide the opportunity to meet and connect with other speakers, refine your idea, and align your topic with the event theme.

By becoming a speaker, you will have access to:

• 5-hours minimum of speaker coaching to sharpen your speaking skills and deliver an impactful, engaging message

• PDUs (if you are a PMI member) for the coaching hours and the event

• Free attendance to the 2023 PM Symposium

• A high quality video of your speech which can be used for professional purposes, future networking, and more!

Each selected speaker for the event will work with our Speaker Coaches to determine the best duration and structure for their respective talk, which will range in duration from 5-15 minutes.

2023 PM Symposium talks can expect to reach a wide audience within Atlantic Canada and beyond. The immediate Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter membership is ~350 members. As well, virtual attendees from neighbouring Maritime Chapters, and those from the immediate St. John’s community are expected to add many hundreds more via in-person and online attendance.
