Bill Morrissey is a part-time trainer and consultant with Morrissey Consulting. He retired in 2018 as Associate  Director with Memorial University’s Gardiner Centre – the corporate training arm of the Faculty of Business Administration – where his primary responsibility was business development. Bill has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Education and has taught in the formal secondary education system as well as at Memorial University. Bill began taking training in project management in 1999 when he was in the first Masters Certificate in Project Management class with York University in Newfoundland. He was awarded his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2013. He has served the Board of PMINL since 2015 in the positions of Secretary, Vice-President and President.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 2005, with a Major in French and Minor in Economics, Jordan earned his Masters in Business (MBA) from Memorial University in 2008. He then completed the Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) in 2009 and received his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2013. Professionally, Jordan has worked as Manager of Programs with Memorial University's Gardiner Centre, responsible for the Centre's marketing and branding activities, consulting and events business lines. He next joined the Department of Advanced Education and Skills, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, working on skilled trades programming and professional development programs and resources for small and medium sized business. In 2013 Jordan re-joined Memorial University and is currently the Coordinator for the Office of the Associate Vice-President (Facilities), where he works on the University's portfolio of Capital Projects. Outside of his professional life Jordan is active with volunteering, having recently finished his term as National Vice-President of Canadian Parents for French, while still serving on the finance committee of Gower Street United Church and working with Memorial's Shad program. Having completed a 2-year term as Director of Communications and Public Relations with the PMI-NL Chapter, Jordan is now looking forward to his new role as Vice-President and helping to advance the profession of Project Management in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Edison Sripal is a Chemical Engineer by profession. He moved to Canada in 2001 to pursue graduate studies. He obtained his Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Waterloo in 2003. He obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009. He received his Project Management Professional designation (PMP) in 2011. He has varied experience in Engineering, Consulting, Research and Development and Project Management. He is currently working as a Laboratory Manager at Hibernia Enhanced Oil Recovery Laboratory at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

As a Senior IT consultant, Susan enjoys the challenge that comes from managing IT projects across a variety of industries and platforms. Susan has expertise with software development / COTS implementations, as well as infrastructure upgrades. Her focus has primarily been enterprise clients in both the public and private sectors (including Johnson Insurance, City of Calgary, Bermuda Telephone and various departments and agencies of GNL).

In addition to receiving her Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) in 2005, Susan also holds several intermediate-level ITIL certifications. Susan has been a member of PMI since 2006.

Kelly Simms is a passionate Project Management Professional with over ten years' experience spanning multiple industries. From large-scale Construction projects to e-learning and software development, Kelly brings a diverse portfolio of PM skills and approach. Born and raised in St. John's, Kelly is a proven leader, a proud professional and a strong team player. She is people-focused and has always championed strong relationships and open communication as the key to successful project management. A graduate of the Gardiner Center's MCPM program, Kelly earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2012. An active mother of three, she is currently the Vice President, Operations with Bluedrop in St. John's, NL.

Robert has over 20 years experience in the information technology industry including the implementation of commercial and custom software solutions for health, transportation, telecommunication, financial and government industries. Robert's current role is a Senior Project Manager with Bell Aliant, includes leading the technology implementations in infrastructure and software. Prior to joining Bell Aliant he was Director of Application Development for Johnson Insurance / RSA Canada.

As well as volunteering for the Director of Technology with PMI NL, Robert is also a volunteer member of the Patient Family Advisory Council with Eastern Heath Cancer Care program.

Saba is a Certified ScrumMaster and has attained her SAFe 4.0 Scaled Agile Advanced ScrumMaster Certification. She holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management with a Minor in Business Management from the State University of New York – Stony Brook.

Saba is new to the province, moving from New York after marrying a born and bred Newfoundlander. In New York, she worked for JPMorgan Chase managing IT projects in their Global Compliance Operations Department, Anti-Money Laundering Division. In addition to her role as project manager at JPMorgan, she gained invaluable experience in Product Management and Business Analysis.

Today, she works as a Senior Project Manager for Piatto Pizzeria + Enoteca, Inc. managing a multitude of projects to standardize processes for all 8 restaurant locations across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. The only thing she loves more than working at Piatto is eating the pizza!

Saba has been a member of PMI Global since 2016 and served as Secretary of PMI-Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter from 2017-2018. She is extremely excited to take on the 2019 Director of Professional Development role and provide resources to support Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter Members as they advance in their project management careers.

Adam is an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate development industry. Adam was awarded the Masters Certificate in Project Management in 2015 and has been certified by the Project Management Institute since 2016 as a Project Management Professional (PMP), as well as the Canadian Construction Association as a Gold Seal Intern (GSI). Skill sets include Budgeting, Construction, Customer Service, Project Estimation, and Project Planning with strong program management skills with the ability to lead, participate in and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Adam also volunteers with the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA-NL) and Habitat for Humanity.

John is an accomplished executive with more than 35 years of progressive leadership experience within the retail industry. His past experience includes various senior positions with several large corporations encompassing grocery, general merchandise, building material and beverage alcohol industries. John has acquired strong communication, operational and project management skills which have enabled him to excel in these retail industries.

He has assumed key roles that include project development and execution as well as management of large retail operations teams. Currently, he is the Vice President of Operations for the Paint Shop / Access Moore Décor Alliance. His responsibilities include business development and operational support for more than 600 corporate and independent retail locations nationally.

John earned a Certificate in OH&S from the College of the North Atlantic in 2012. He also graduated with a Master’s Certificate in Project Management through Memorial University’s Gardiner Center in 2015 and then achieved a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2018.
