At the PMI Newfoundland & Labrador (PMINL) Chapter, our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do. From organizing insightful events to fostering local professional growth, their dedication drives our community forward.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented leader to step into the role of Associate Director of Volunteering. If you are passionate about mentorship, community building, and leadership development, this is your chance to make a tangible impact.

This isn’t just a volunteer position; it’s a strategic leadership opportunity. As the Associate Director, you will be the champion for our volunteer network, focusing on three pillars: recruitment, retention, and recognition.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Welcoming New Talent: Conducting general orientations for new volunteers, helping them understand our structure, roles, and deliverables.
- Coaching & Development: Helping volunteers grow into their roles and unlock their full potential.
- Building Community: Ensuring our volunteers feel supported, valued, and aligned with chapter policies and bylaws.
The Best Part? You will earn PDUs (Professional Development Units) while giving back, helping you maintain your PMI certifications while expanding your local network.

To be eligible for this role, you must be a current member of the PMI Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter.
